Sleep / insomnia

Sleep is vital to a healthy mind and body as when we still this is when our body and mind heals and repairs itself. Therefore if you struggle to get to sleep, wake through the night or rise early in the morning, struggling to get back off. hypnotherapy could help you break that habit. 

Sleep problems can also lead to increased stress, anxiety and lead to problems with general day to day activities. 

It can also work the other way and stress can cause sleep problems. The stress maybe due to a range of reasons such as work, financial, family, personal issues or even a past or recent stressful event.

Stressful events may have passed but they may have a greater influence on your life now than you release, dealing with this past event can be work within hypnotherapy sessions, to allow you to move on and not allow it to effect your day to day life anymore. 

You may also find you have a 'busy mind' that you find it very difficult to switch off at bed time meaning that this effects your sleep dramatically. 


How can Hypnotherapy help my sleep problems?

Hypnotherapy is a fantastic form of relaxation as well as working with the subconscious mind (as described in my main Hypnotherapy page) to change our thoughts and behaviours associated with sleep.

I will teach you simple techniques to use to help you with relaxation that you will be encouraged to use daily. You will learn how to take control of your own thoughts and 'busy mind' to allow you to switch off as soon as you hit the pillow and enjoy a full nights sleep.
